Library
The International Cocoa Agreement of 2001 states that :
" The International Cocoa Organization shall act as a global information centre for the efficient collection, collation, exchange and dissemination of information on all factors relating to cocoa and cocoa products "
ICCO's objective is therefore to facilitate access to different information tools and cocoa experts that will help to solve any information request coming from the cocoa community.
The library at the ICCO Secretariat holds a unique and international reference collection on cocoa matters. Diverse subjects are covered from cocoa cultivation to marketing methods in producer countries.
A global subject classification can be found here.
The ICCO Library collection comprises more than 5,000 books, reports, theses, research papers, etc. The Library also houses statistical information on world cocoa production, prices, imports and exports, consumption and stocks of cocoa from 1958 to the present day. This collection is available for consultation by prior to appointment .
